Located in a basement with access via elevator, this restaurant refers to a village in the feudal times of Japan, with an environment that resembles stone dungeons. Waiters dressed as ninjas surprise guests doing tricks and fight screams all night. The menu brings fun creations and some dishes with special decorations.
Giger Bar (Chur, Switzerland)
In this restaurant you will dive into the world of fantastic art and science fiction. In 1980, H.R Giger, a Swiss artist, won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects for his participation in the film “Alien”. The success was so much that he decided to create a bar all inspired in his creations for the movie. Ceiling, walls, tables, chairs, everything is inspired by Giger’s art elements. It’s like entering and have a drink in the Alien creature.
The Magic Restroom Café (California, USA)
Who comes for a meal in this restaurant, is surprised by its full tiled walls, showers and chairs in the shape of toilets. In addition to the unusual decor, the menu features dishes with curious names like “black poop”, a kind of chocolate sundae, the “poop that smells good,” which is roast pork with rice and “number two bloody” a vanilla sundae with strawberry. If the names were not enough, the food is still served in bowls that resemble small toilets.
Robot Restaurant (Tokyo, Japan)
This millionaire investment restaurant is located in the Kabukicho district of Tokyo and receives hundreds of people every day. It offers its guests, for almost one hour visit, many special effects with performing dancers, musicians, robots, and futuristic landscape that changes all the time.
Hospitalis Restaurant and Bar (Riga, Latvia)
Created by three doctors in 2009, this restaurant looks more like a surgery room than a place to eat. Waiters are dressed as nurses and guests will enjoy their meal in surgery tables. Food is served in medical utensil and drinks in test tubes, spoons and forks are replaced by syringes and scalpel. The menu includes dishes with names of diseases and you can even be fed by a nurse while you are wearing a straightjacket.
Heart Attack Grill (Las Vegas, USA)
All decorated to resemble a hospital, this restaurant is a bomb of calories. Right in the entrance you will be invited to wear a hospital gown by a sexy and beautiful nurse and you can also be taken to your table in a wheelchair if you want. In the menu you can find many types of options with lots of calories. The basic snack has 2 burgers and 6 layers of bacon but if you want to try something more dangerous you can choose one with 8 burgers and countless bacon layers.
Witches in Britches (Melbourne, Australia)
For those with a wicked sense of humor and a taste for good food this is a perfect restaurant to go. All inspired in a kind of Halloween theme the Witches in Britches take their guests to a horror adventure full of food and drinks. Right in the beginning, guests are served with a “Witches curse” pumpkin soup served right from the cauldron. While you eat, actors and actress entertain the guests with many types of performances.
50’s Prime Time Café (Orlando, USA)
Located inside the Walt Disney World complex, this restaurant is all decorated to look like a house in the 50’s. Guests here will feel inside their grandmother’s house since waiters and waitresses treat you as a family member: they send you set the table, make sure you are eating their fruits and vegetables and even be angry if you put your elbows on the table. The menu of course, is full of American food from the 50’s.
Buns and Guns (Beirut, Lebanon)
This fast food restaurant in Lebanon is ready for a war attack! To attract customers the Buns and Guns decided to use a military theme: the menus have shape of bullets and each dish has the name of a weapon, the staff are all in army uniform and chef is identified by the military helmet. Sandbags do the division from the street to where the tables are displayed. Camouflage nets and ammunition and are used for the interior decoration.
A380 Restaurant (Taipei, Taiwan)
The inside of this restaurant looks like an Airbus and the waitresses are dressed like flight attendants. Customers can order a variety of foods, including Japanese, European and Australian dishes and they will all be served in that small cars used in airplanes. The restaurant is divided as a real airplane with economy, business and first classes.
